Disclosure
Every guest post is labeled as sponsored content (advertorial) in the article and in the emails we send to subscribers. We never run paid content without disclosure.
Editorial standards
- Original. Submit an article that hasn’t been published anywhere else.
- Useful on its own. The article has to teach indie authors something they can use even if they never buy from you. Mention your product where it fits the advice.
- Accurate. Claims about results, earnings, or sales must be supportable. No guaranteed rankings, bestseller status, or income.
- 1,200 words or fewer. We may trim for length.
Editing and refunds
We edit every guest post for clarity, accuracy, style, and length, and we may change the headline. All edits are at our discretion. If a submission doesn’t meet our standards, we reserve the right to cancel the placement and refund your payment.

- Tobacco, vaping, cannabis, CBD, alcohol, and recreational drugs
- Adult content, adult services, and dating services
- Medical, health, and wellness products or claims, including supplements, weight loss, and pharmaceuticals
- Cryptocurrency, NFTs, trading, forex, high-risk lending, MLMs, and get-rich-quick offers
- Weapons, firearms, and ammunition
- Political campaigns, political or advocacy messaging, and religious recruitment
- Hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content
- Paid reviews, review swaps that break retailer rules, fake engagement, bot traffic, and ranking or page-read manipulation
- Pirated or counterfeit content, account resale, and services that resell other people’s work
- Vanity presses, publishers with undisclosed author fees, and services with a record of predatory practices toward authors
- SEO link placements or articles written mainly to place backlinks
- Products unrelated to writing, publishing, or running an author business
- Anything illegal, deceptive, or misleading
